End User License Agreement

Grant of License

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use, analyze, and incorporate the Next Generation Attenuation (NGA) data into their research, education, and consulting projects.

Data Reuse and Derivative Works

Users may create derivative works based on these data. Users are encouraged to cite original sources of the data, which are made available through the Citations table. Users who wish to cite this website as an acknowledgment of the efforts required to organize the database and user interface should cite:

Restrictions

The data may not be sold by any third party.

Creators of derivative products must acknowledge their use of the data, and also acknowledge that their derivative products are not endorsed by, or created in collaboration with the NGA project.

Users must abide by limits imposed on downloads of time series data. Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of evading these limits is prohibited.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any terms of this agreement.

Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The data is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind. The University of California, UCLA, and the funding agencies that supported development of this dataset are not liable for any damages arising from use of the data.
